I'm not even sure when Cake Smash sessions became a thing, but I am so glad they did! What a fun, silly and different way to celebrate this milestone! One year and so many things change. When do we ever encourage our little ones to make a mess on purpose? This dainty little girl wasn't sure about her cake, but loved the flower decorations on top and at one point tried to fit them all in her mouth at once! These shoots are so fun for mom and dad and for me. I am laughing behind the camera and smiling ear to ear when editing. They are usually fast, easy to set up and so much fun!
